Board of Directors

Volunteers from different walks of life are contributing to our organization on the Board of Directors:

IN UNITED STATES:

CAM01129Gail Kouyate / Co-Founder & President

In the past, I have supported many handicapped individuals due to polio, diabetes or cerebral palsy because of compassion & concern for people.  My administrative experience having supported many CEOs in businesses has also given me a well rounded background in business.  Together this has given me the ability & desire to create and develop Mobility & Health for Africa.  My desire and goal now is to help people in need in Africa to obtain the necessary mobility devices and hospital & pharmaceutical supplies and ultimately protect Albinos and help to better people’s lives.

I have been a technical sales professional for 25 plus years.  Have known and worked with Gail and MBemba on capital project business in years past.  Mobility & Health for Africa is a great humanitarian effort to help handicapped and hospitals in Africa. We envision our outreach to also help protect Albinos with safe haven villages, and who are in need with God’s help and Blessing, and persons and organizations who are willing to donate to this worthy and much needed cause.

I served for 5 years on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Canadian Disability Rights Council. We primarily established case law under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom. My interest in bettering the quality of life for people with physical and emotional disadvantages may stem from my experience of my grandmother who was later in life wheelchair bound, as a result of polio. Perhaps my experience with dealing with my son’s dyslexia in the public school system taught me how to advocate for his education. I am sincerely glad to be part of Mobility & Health for Africa because they are helping many people with mobility and hospital issues to give them hope and supplies that they desperately need.

Hassan Diallo/ Magistrate in Guinea

I have been a District Attorney for forty years, working for the Minister of Justice.  We are trying to help people who are physically handicapped in Africa generally and in Guinea particularly because only the English speaking countries are getting all the help, so I am supporting this great ministry of Mobility & Health for Africa.

I have been a General Medical Doctor after obtaining three diplomas for general, tropical and urgent medicine from the University of Paris V.  My background has been Assistant Urgent Service at Joigne of Oisans (Paris), Cabinet Medical de Dixinn.  I currently own and manage the Clinique Medicale de la Miniere in Guinea.  I know the importance of this ministry, Mobility & Health for Africa due to our need here in Guinea. I have been friends with MBemba Kouyate, the Founder of this organization for many years and know his integrity and have seen how dedicated he is in doing charity in Guinea. This is why I am on the Board of Directors, to support this ministry.
